Care
Cleaning:
To preserve the good condition of your mattress, we advise using a mattress protector underneath a fitted sheet to protect from any spills and stains.
To spot-clean the mattress directly, simply wipe down the affected area with a clean, damp cloth and allow time to thoroughly dry afterwards.
Avoid using any harsh detergents or chemical cleaning products on your mattress.
Turning:
As we design our mattresses with multiple layers to maximise their support and comfort, they do not need to be turned.
However, to maintain an equal distribution of wear and tear on the top-most layer, we do recommend occasionally rotating your mattress. This should ideally be done once a week for the first month of use, and then once a month thereafter.

How long do I have to wait to sleep on it once unrolled?
It can take up to 24 hours for the mattress to reach its full depth when first unpacked. We recommend that you do not sleep or sit on the mattress during this time to allow it to fully expand to its correct shape and size.

As our mattresses are designed with multiple layers to maximise support and comfort, they do not need to be flipped.
Do I need to rotate my mattress?
People tend to sleep in the same position every night, which leaves an impression on the mattress surface. You should rotate your mattress from foot end to head end to maintain equal wear and tear. We recommend rotating your mattress once a week for the first month of use and then once a month thereafter. Rotating your mattress gives the foam layer time to recover before its next rotation.

Yes, you can use your mattress with any divan base or frame. For slatted bed frames, we recommend a gap of no more than 7cm between the slats to give your mattress the correct support it needs.

Was really cautious about buying a mattress online but needn’t have been. After some negotiation with 3 flights of stairs a cardboard box and the world’s largest vacuum sealed bag (all by myself) and after a couple of day’s, I can honestly say. WOW. Best night’s sleep I’ve had in ages. Although for me it could be just a little bit firmer and there is a smell when you first open the mattress that is pretty unpleasant but after a couple of day’s in a well ventilated room it disappeared. It’s a great mattress at a great price. Highly recommended.

Once unrolled it took several days to really feel like it had bounced back properly. Lovely firm mattress, perhaps a bit firmer and deeper than I expected so very luxurious feel. The other half likes it and when he gets up during the night I no longer feel him getting out of bed, that’s how supportive this mattress is. Very happy with this for the price. Much better than my previous, more expensive, mattress.

This really is worth every penny! Comes rolled up which makes it easy to get up the stairs, easy to unpackage (just be careful not to cut the mattress itself when removing the packaging), nice medium feel, supportive and super speedy delivery. The foam top of this mattress is just lovely to sleep on, it’s supportive but also helps keep my body temperature down which I do struggle with due to a health condition.
As a wheelchair user I suffer from back pain from sitting all day and whilst I enjoyed a previous full memory foam mattress in the past, my back didn’t! It was too soft, this is a happy middle ground for me personally. It’s a medium firmness imo so not too hard but the springs help give it support whilst the foam is super soft for a good nights sleep

Can feel the springs around the sides a little. The sides are not reinforced so it dips a bit when you sit on it. Laying on it is perfect, I’ve only had good sleep since it arrived.

I took a bit of a risk as I had never heard of this company, the mattress is pretty decent to lie on and from the first night it seemed okay, I don’t sleep well anyway so my lack of sleep is probably nothing to do with the mattress. My only one concern is that the springs are very obvious on the sides, you can feel them quite clearly, there is no padding around them. The mattress edges are very soft, I can’t detect any support on the edges. Overall I think it’s okay as I got it on offer, I don’t know how well it will last though.

I have to say it is very comfortable. You don’t seem to realise how uncomfortable your old mattress was. It’s a hybrid mattress with springs and memory foam so you would expect a very comfortable mattess – and it’s made in Britain.
The mattress only has one way up but you are advised to swap top and bottom regularly. I was very surprised that there were no handles on the side of the mattress, which would have made things easier when you change the mattess round.

I have waited two weeks after receiving my Summerby mattress before writing this review!
I was sleeping badly, had neck and back pain with my Silentnight miracoil mattress!
Read the positive reviews about the Summerby mattress and decided to order one!
It arrived within 3 days and it was MUCH heavier than I thought and required two people to get it up the stairs!
I waited 24 hours before sleeping on it as suggested in the leaflet delivered with the mattress!
I slept right through the night on my first night and woke up with no aches and pains! I can’t explain how delighted I am! I’ve continued to sleep soundly since!
It’s true that the edges of the mattress are very soft but I bought this to sleep on not to sit on!!!
I can’t recommend it enough!
