This mattress relieved the back pain that I was suffering from it is semi firm as I asked for. The customer service at Summerby is excellent and very quick. The delivery and haul away service was on time and only took minutes. 👍

Have had for about 1.5 years now, is very comfortable and we get a very good night’s sleep so fine in that regard. As others have said not much support on the edges but we only really notice this if actually sitting on the edge.

I have waited two weeks after receiving my Summerby mattress before writing this review!
I was sleeping badly, had neck and back pain with my Silentnight miracoil mattress!
Read the positive reviews about the Summerby mattress and decided to order one!
It arrived within 3 days and it was MUCH heavier than I thought and required two people to get it up the stairs!
I waited 24 hours before sleeping on it as suggested in the leaflet delivered with the mattress!
I slept right through the night on my first night and woke up with no aches and pains! I can’t explain how delighted I am! I’ve continued to sleep soundly since!
It’s true that the edges of the mattress are very soft but I bought this to sleep on not to sit on!!!
I can’t recommend it enough!

I have to say it is very comfortable. You don’t seem to realise how uncomfortable your old mattress was. It’s a hybrid mattress with springs and memory foam so you would expect a very comfortable mattess – and it’s made in Britain.

The mattress only has one way up but you are advised to swap top and bottom regularly. I was very surprised that there were no handles on the side of the mattress, which would have made things easier when you change the mattess round.

For context I’m 6’5″ and 275lbs. I love this mattress. Soft but supportive and I sleep better than I have the past 2 years. A new mattress was overdue and this was money well spent. I even got one for my daughter!

adding to original comment. after about 5 weeks I noticed a section of the bed had sunk. Tried contacting the company with no reply so far.

I took a bit of a risk as I had never heard of this company, the mattress is pretty decent to lie on and from the first night it seemed okay, I don’t sleep well anyway so my lack of sleep is probably nothing to do with the mattress. My only one concern is that the springs are very obvious on the sides, you can feel them quite clearly, there is no padding around them. The mattress edges are very soft, I can’t detect any support on the edges. Overall I think it’s okay as I got it on offer, I don’t know how well it will last though.
